Corfu Microbrewery

H Corfu Microbrewery was founded in 2006 by Spyros Kaloudis at Arillas of the Northwest Corfu, 35 km from Corfu town. In 2009 the first ones came out Corfu Beer beers in the market, next year they approached 100.000 liters and today in 2015, six years later, the initial production has increased sixfold, which makes it one of the most dynamic microbreweries in Greece.

Corfu Beer beers are all Real Ale - live product produced in a natural way - and their fermentation and maturation takes place in special tankers for several weeks without stabilizers, dyes and other chemical additives. They are for all tastes and must be kept in the refrigerator with a short shelf life:

Red ale special. Red, fermented, unfiltered and sterilized beer from caramelized malt and yeast with fruity aromas.

Dark ale bitter. Dark, frothy and sterile, where the roasted barley combines harmoniously with the hops and yeast and gives a pleasant bitterness.

Amorosa weiss. The double fermentation process releases a banana aroma.

Contessa ira. Double fermented beer, unfiltered, with a strong aroma, full body, pleasant aftertaste.

Royal Ionian Pilsner. Fresh aromatic blonde beer with mild pleasant bitterness.

Ionian Epos The "barley wine" of the Phaeacians, according to Homer, 2800 later with the addition of pure flower honey.

Ionian Gold. Fresh lager barrels.

1842 Ginger beer. From 1842 Corfu enjoyed the coolness of ginger beer.

Ο Spyros Kaloudis, a hardworking and immovable Corfiot, following the family tradition of wholesale and producer from his grandfather and father, until the beginning of our century was engaged exclusively in the wholesale of food and beverages, representing large food companies. His mind, however, was focused on the production of a Corfiot product that would meet the needs of his favorite island. Stubborn and passionate, he not only achieved his personal goal as an entrepreneur, but also as a team leader "Corfu produces" created a dynamic that embraced all local certified producers of Corfu.

At the headquarters of the Corfu Microbrewery in Arillas, the beer factory can be visited and every Saturday it is visited by organized groups, where Spyros and his family welcome the people with their proverbial hospitality, taking tasting lessons Corfu Beer Corfu beer, but also marrying beer with the delicacies and delicacies of the island.
