Who among us Greeks does not remember the consoling taste of our childhood favorite dish? Who among us forgets the delicious emotion of "eggs in the pan" and french fries? And how to get rid of the sweetness of the memory of those moments when you dipped the potato in the provocative round egg yolk with the fork as a submarine and then when you enjoyed the bite to the ultimate pleasure. Despite all these beautiful experiences, you rarely find fries served with eggs nowadays in restaurants and taverns. Banal theme, as if it is easy to find tasty potatoes, to be well fried and the eggs to be fresh and delicious.

One of the reasons I go to Winery Special in Tambouria are the “Potatoes with fried eggs“. Cult dish, surrealistically served by Mr. Apostolos. And just yesterday - I have to say very late, since my trips to Greece made me and I lost a lot from Athens - I discovered Base grill and there I found them "Eggs like your eyes" (I make up for my late discovery with two corresponding articles). The creative version of our adorable children's delicacy is presented in a nest of french fries with eggs as the members of the company. The waiter then breaks the eggs and scatters them in the nest which is then divided as a tart cut into radial pieces. Beautiful moments, flavors that evoke memories of youth, family memories, thoughts of people who have left us.
