Plomariou Ouzo highlights the traditional boats

Exclusive packaging that is a tribute to the Greek navy, creates the Ouzo Plomariou and distributes them to Duty Free Shops.

Plomariou Ouzo, remaining faithful to the Greek tradition which is an integral part of its DNA, has now crossed the borders of our country and enchants consumers throughout the length and breadth of the earth with a significant presence in foreign chains and also in duty-free shops (KAE). . It is the spirit that travels the Greek tradition, creating packaging that is a tribute to its Greek origin.

The Distillery recently entered into a collaboration with the Association of Greek Traditional Boats and actively supports the actions of the Association to spread the importance of traditional boats and the art of wood-building. On the occasion of the collaboration, the distillery embraces the Greek maritime culture and promotes Greek seafaring by "dressing up" the packaging available in the Duty Free Shops of Greece, with wooden boats, by the hand of the visual artist Martin Krastev. Three different packages decorated with 3 traditional Greek boats, the "Viking" the "Aeolos of Spetses" and "Gabriel", which still adorn the Greek seas today.

The boat "Viking" was built in 1952 in Spetses by Petroutsis. Today it proudly represents the Greek traditional shipbuilding art, participating in the International Race of Classic and Traditional Boats in Spetses as well as in Naurynia.

"Aeolos Spetson" was built in 1966 at the shipyard of Emmanuel Psaros in Perama. Today it is located in the old port of Spetses and every year it participates in the International Race of Classic and Traditional Boats of Spetses, having won the most medals in its category.

Finally, the boat "Gabriel" was built in 1972 in Perama by Giorgos Psaros. Since then, it has been sailing under the sacred site of Delphi in the Corinthian Gulf and is part of the historic port of Galaxidi.

The packaging, which is distributed in KAE, is a collector's item, a part of the Greek maritime tradition and part of a series of richly illustrated packaging, which combines the classic, the elegant and the modern. Inside each package is an engraving of the artwork depicted on it, with specific details for each boat. Discover them and travel in the Greek tradition with our national drink and the woodworking art that characterize our country!
