Olive and Mint in Skalani

"Olive and Mint", is a restaurant in Staircase, 11 km distance from Heraklion Crete, next to the famous wineries of the area, starring the award-winning chef Argyro Barda.

Argyro started her professional activity from the area of ​​Elounda, with the restaurant “I'm late"In the area of ​​Istron of Agios Nikolaos and then continued with its second restaurant in Mesa Mouliana of Sitia under the name"Kefalovrysi".

Having now gained recognition in the field of cooking, Argyro creates in the village of Skalani, Heraklion, the Elia and Mint restaurant, where since 2006 welcomes lovers of good food.

The areas of Olive & Mint have been configured in such a way that they operate individually such as e.g. the cellar area that can accommodate 18 people, a second room up to 30 people, while all rooms together have a capacity of up to 160 guests, while in the summer months the courtyard is available for another 90 people. The "civilized" atmosphere refers more to a restaurant intended to celebrate anniversaries and pleasant events, but also to organize business dinners, in small or large groups.

The open kitchen of the restaurant is a sign of his commitment to transparency and high quality but also an opportunity to admire Argyro to create her delicacies, which is a "marriage" of the Cretan tradition with a refined and healthy diet. Elia and Diosmos has a wine cellar with a wide variety of wines from the Cretan vineyards, which is renewed at regular intervals.
