Η Kinuria is a historical area and province of the prefecture of Arcadia. It includes the coastal part of the prefecture and the northern slopes of Mount Parnon. Administratively, Kynouria is currently divided into two municipalities, the municipalities of North Kynouria and South Kynouria. The most important settlements of Kynouria are Leonidio, Astros and Tyros.

A part of Kynouria includes the villages of Tsakoni, a population group that are speakers of the Tsakonian dialect. Their area occupies part of the southern mainly part of the province.
