The Transistor is a creation of two young men from Amorgos, of Antonis Papadopoulos graduate of ASOE and his Dionysis Tsouglaki graduate of the School of Mechanical Engineering of Chalkida, first cousins ​​in terms of their mothers, family Legal, who from a young age made their living working as assistant waiters, on the island.

The 2015 received an old store on the main street of the country and today is probably the liveliest and happiest gastronomic hangout in Chora of Amorgos. The reason is the team that consists of the five cooks and the other 10 children who spread smiles and delicious flavors.

At some point, in 2019, to control the people waiting for the turn to take their place on the porch, they opened a semi-basement directly opposite tasteful bar where one can be waiting enjoying his cocktail, or his roasted raki, or even curious about the locally packaged food of Amorgos, which is also for sale.
