Η EPSA is a traditional family soft drink company based in Wormwood, its seaside village Volos. Its factory is a real jewel of the area, as it is a building that has kept unchanged the Pelion architecture.

The course of 90 years of strong presence, mainly in Magnesia and Thessaly, "tied" the product with the region. The history of EPSA it starts 1922, when t ' Kosmadopoulos brothers, from the Zagora, bank owners, buy land in Wild of Volos and establish the Agria Refrigerators Company SA for the production of ice and the preservation of fruits and vegetables.

At the same time, to take advantage of the overproduction of lemons in the area, they create one juice and soft drink factory.

The arrival of the German chemical engineer Mr Otto, gives birth to the famous secret recipe of the famous carbonated lemonade.
The 1936, Kosmadopoulos bank, goes bankrupt and EPSA becomes the property of the National Bank. The company is modernizing and the packaging of the soft drinks is done in an original bottle, with a modern form for the time, and a relief rhombus mark.
Just before his decade '70, ice production stops, and the National Bank accepts the takeover offer of the Moskachlaidis and Nikos Tsautos brothers and transfers the shares of EPSA to them.

The new owners invest in new machines and facilities and the production gradually goes from 1.500 bottles per hour - which was until then - to 7.500, in 1982 the production reaches 20.000 bottles per hour, while in the days it exceeds 30.000 bottles and boxes. aluminum reach 18.000 boxes per hour.

Nowadays, the EPSA in 90 years of its life, is considered to be a company that produces greek soft drinks with high and consistent quality in their taste, while the promotion strategies of its products stand out thanks to their innovative aesthetics and their innovative ideas.

EPSA maintains in its facilities one Museum, where in addition to the interesting material mentioned in the history of the company, it also includes a shocking collection with the glass bottles of all the local companies of the country (about 300), which before the arrival of the two international monopolies of soft drinks, refreshed the Greeks.
