Pistachio Fest.

The 2008, with citizens' initiative Aegina, a day m was organizedwith the original title "Vasta Msleft φtissues», where, inter alia, the valuable experiences of fiproducerthe of the city of Brode, Sicily. This was the trigger for dits creation Pistachios Party.

Since then, each Septembervirus, the Pistachio Festival embraced by' all over the world and is established as the great modern celebration of Aegina.  

Here, except tof commercial activity, with dozens of tasteful kiosks set up along the waterfront with products pistachio, are organized parallels events - painting exhibitions, concerts, Theatrical Performance and gastronomic evenings -, proofnodding so that the pistachio came inworth in mrof the social, economic and cultural life of the island. 

The events are attended by a large number of visitors from Greece and abroad, coming specially for the event Pistachio Fest.While the local community (youth, citizens, professionals, institutions) participate as a whole.
