Η Triantaphyllopoulou family holds a significant strength in the hotel area in Mr., with hotels that can accommodate 35.000 visitors a year. However, her interest was always focused on the quality and the connection of Tourism with the production of Kotiki land. On this basis planting its first grapes in 1996, twenty years later it is proud because it has the largest and most technologically equipped winery on the island with its wines having secured many distinctions in Greece and abroad.

The part of the winery was taken over and carried out personally by Mary Triantaphyllopoulou. She adopted the winery and made it her fifth child, laying the foundations of Wine Tourism in Kos. And it did not stop there. Active, enthusiastic and effective, he dealt with the public of the sector, as a member of the Board and secretary of S.E.O. (Hellenic Wine Association) and member of the Board of Directors of (EDOAO) National Interprofessional Vine and Wine, while he is also president of the Association of Wine Producers of the Aegean Islands and vice president and general secretary of the Kos Hoteliers Association and finally Mayor of Kos .

We visited it at the winery located in their vineyard, at the foot of Mount Dikaios in the middle of the island, overlooking the sunset in the sea!

"Our winery, modern aesthetics and with all the specifications for the production of high quality wine, is a jewel and became the example for the island. In 2007, after a persistent struggle, we managed to put Kos on the national and world wine map, achieving the certification of designation of origin. We are proud that the fifty thousand visitors that we welcome each year in our winery, we turn them into the best ambassadors not only of the branded Greek wine, but also of other local products that we serve.

Along with the varieties we planted 20 years ago, such as the aromatic Malagouzia and the Aegean, Athiri and Assyrtiko, as well as the international ones, the deep red Merlot, the versatile Chardonnay, the aristocratic Syrah and the cosmopolitan Cabernet Sauvignon of different Greek varieties in order to study their adaptation, because the care and expansion of our vineyard never stops… ”

The wines of the Triantaphyllopoulos estate have the characterization PGI (Products with Geographical Indication KO), are of exceptional quality and have been awarded in international competitions.
