Anemi Guesthouse in Kato Pedina

In the central Zagorochoria, in Kato Pedina (Soudena) in one of the highest points of the village, Paul and Lila they made one inn, but what an inn! THE Anemi Guesthouse is a container of life, a welcoming place with an inexplicable magic and an incredible intimacy.

You want the effort, the energy and the work that they put in for six years to make it - when at some point they decided to tear up their degrees and say goodbye to city life - you want their taste that can be seen in the smallest detail, you want the exuberant but at the same time their discreet presence, they create a unique atmosphere.

While the seven rooms of the hostel are in continental traditional style, with the characteristic green, blue and red colors on the walls, the fireplace, the beds classic ondas, the flocks all with a light, spacious and happy feeling, in the common areas things change.

Here the continental traditional style meets the international ethnik, contemporary art, arte pauvera and the personal style of Paul and Lila. The wooden floors, the stone walls, the ornate roofs are married with the recycled metal constructions, the paintings, the machines, the impressive kitchen tiles with the red hanging peppers. Books and records spread everywhere, a guitar in a corner, while on the floor a colorful beautiful loom. It is the place where the tradition of the whole world, the tradition of the collectives goes forward and helps you to see the future better and more optimistically!

We left Athens, some years ago, choosing Kato Pedina (Soudena), for permanent residence. The plan was from the beginning to create a "modern" inn. So we set up the Anemi Inn, which we aspire to be more than just a guest house. A place where interesting people will share interesting ideas! ”

They say "kids" and they achieved their goal. Of course, all these interests unfold mainly around the kitchen table where Lila grows up with the continental pies and especially with the famous cashew pie her.

And around, with appetizers, with continental sea bream, some scratches on the guitar, the lucky residents in Anemi Guesthouse tend to grasp the universal meaning of life.
