Cine Aigli
Ο Aigli cinema, one of the last monuments of the pre-war Bel Epox of the capital is located in the heart of Of Athens, next to Zappeion, between the Panathinaiko Stadium and the National Garden, opposite the pillars of Olympian Zeus and under the shadow of the Acropolis.
In a magical location, in the green natural environment of the most beautiful garden of the capital, the cine Glamour is part of the modern complex of Aigli Zappeiou, the complex that includes the all day café restaurant, the Greek cuisine restaurant Aigli, social and professional event rooms and the garden "Aegli Garden".
The majestic building of Zappeion, donated by the great national benefactor Konstantinos Zappas, to designs by Theophilos Hansen completed in 1888, and the adjacent "Aigli Beer Restaurant" which first operated in 1904, are the only buildings in the 800-acre garden, located between the National Garden and the Vasilissis Olgas.
From then until today the Aigli Zappeiou is an integral part of the social life of Athens and over time, from the era of the belle epoque, the Balkan Wars, the interwar period and the post-war years "marked" the social life and daily life of Athenians.
