Ο Sun-Floros, a Levantine and noble physiognomy, continues his narrative:

"My father built the tavern 1959, then I was 9 years old, when it was deserted around here, there was no trace of a road (to reinforce the story it also shows us photographs-documents). We brought all the materials by boat from Skala. The excavations were done with sledgehammers and dynamite. The road was opened ten years later, when Xenia was built in Groiko (today's Patmos Aktis). Today two beaches are among the most attractive on the island. And we have been offering for half a century homemade cuisine".

Mr. Floros in the service and his brother Pavlos in the kitchen took over 1980 the shop from their father - "they were young and old" he comments with a smile - and is one of the most worthy ambassadors of Patina cuisine and hospitality.
