The repeatedly awarded blue flag beach Costa, southeast of Porto Heli, is distinguished for its beautiful sandy beach and for its shallow clear waters. A well-known vacation spot, a resort of famous names like the whole surrounding area, is the only passage from the Peloponnese to Spetses, where every day dozens of taxis pick up people from and to the island. In the center of the Costa beach is one of the most popular taverns on the Greek Riviera, the Costa tavern of the Drouza family.

One of the few in Greece where it can boast of its century-old history. "In a privately owned area that our family has had since 1895, the 1912 the first tavern, in the place it is today, on the sea, with customers only from Spetses who came for a swim. At that time there was no road connection with Porto Heli, only paths and the people of Spetses came by sailing boats until 1940.

In 1940 a larger tavern was built here, in 1956 the road connection with Porto Heli was made and in 1960 the asphalt.

After 1960, the privately owned holiday homes began to be built by Spetses vacationers and followed in the 70's by Athenians.

The tavern had mainly fish, from the trawls that spread the nets on the two adjacent beaches and cooked, which Elias's mother cooked until 1955.

In 1973 the connection with Spetses is made by ferry boat and a few years later the sea taxis enter.

The restaurant becomes a well-known hangout, with a steady clientele from the surrounding holiday homes, Porto Heli and all Hermione. Where else to find tables on the beach, terrace white as if you were in a boat, with a background of the blue of the sea and the picturesque Spetses.
