The Eugenia traditional food & sweets workshop is located at the intersection of Aristotle and Ant. Konstantinidis in Naoussa and is the pride of the inhabitants of the city. Everyone knows that here they will eat the freshest and healthiest in the pie sector.

Although Mrs. Eugenia makes the local sweets in packages, spoon sweets mantza, but also sweets depending on the holidays, her reputation has been built on her famous pies. All the pies that were traditionally made in Naoussa, in her hands become a gastronomic temptation.

First and best is the pie prasokimas, the emblematic pie of the city. It only becomes a poem in her hands. Leek and minced meat and a small onion with a minimal amount of cumin, become an airy taste that is of course due to the fact that the filling is not fried, but cooked in its own juice and water. And I, the well-known meat eater and sausage eater, ate a plate of minced meat pie with pleasure and joy, without feeling the slightest inconvenience!

The pumpkin pie, from red and not yellow pumpkins - as he explained to us - which as a taste, from the sweet refers to bougatsa! Of interest are the batsio pies, the cheese pies and the spinach cheese pies with feta and batzio PDO, the cream pies and the pies with chives (spring onions).

Our visit to Eugenia's workshop starts from her raw material warehouses where she shows us their origin! Slices and PDO cheeses, organic vegetables, all first quality ingredients. Then we sit in the very tasteful, corner living room, lit by the midday sun and she tells us about her life, her participation in exhibitions, in Greece and abroad and her obsession for the production of quality food. It is no coincidence that it serves not only passers-by, the neighborhood and its fanatical friends, but also a lot of catering with pies, at social events, etc.

It is not worth going through Naoussa and not trying a pie from Mrs. Eugenia and not drinking a coffee with her!
