The Esperides Spa Hotel is built in a cultivated estate of 4,5 acres, all peaches and other trees, 2 km before the city Naoussa and is an ideal destination for agritourism getaways focusing on gastronomy.

At the disposal of each guest has one of the 17 tasteful apartments, the privately owned comfortable parking, the playground, the traditional wood oven for BBQ and the beautiful SPA.

Ο Dimitris Mantsios and his wife Rena Alatsidou, the owners of the Esperides Hotel in Naoussa, both resigned from the State where they worked - Dimitris was for 14 years in charge of hospitality at the ski resort 3-5 Pigadia - and decided in March 1999 to build this hotel.

«It all started when we went up here, where my father's farm was, and we saw the unique view of the Macedonian plain. We said with Rena, this is it! And we built it in record time, it ended in January 2000", Says Dimitris, who for 15 years is President of the Hoteliers Association of Imathia and for the last 4 years Municipal Councilor, having also served as Vice President of Culture and Tourism.

Rena, who lived in London for several years - was a construction technician and fashion designer - put her favorite country style in the interior decoration of the hotel, resulting in a large dining area and living room, with unobstructed view to the plain of Naoussa - in spring it is a unique pink carpet from the flowering of peaches - reminiscent of the interior of a London cottage, as of course the bedrooms!

The fireplace in a corner, with the comfortable armchair and the sofas, invites you to snooze while drinking your drink and listening to the woods burn silently to forget your meanings.

The food in Hesperides is a great chapter, in which Dimitris has put all his passion and all his love and knowledge.

«I believe that we must "press" on our tradition, because we have excellent dishes and recipes that take us to the essence of the gastronomy of our city", Says Dimitris, who is also an excellent cook. He shows his mastery in rich hotel breakfast, with the pies he makes at the moment, the handmade cookies, the mustache cookies with wine from local wineries, the local cheeses and cold cuts of Bandi, the oatmeal with peach compote and nuts, in a buffet that offers 3-4 different local products. «Batsopita - made with our cheese the cop -, Placinta or Guluglavi or Kurkoutopita - open pie made of porridge - are just two of the dozens of delicious pies we have in our tradition».

From 2018, Dimitris organizes at the hotel the "Delicious Wanderings from Naoussa to the Mediterranean", Ie courses where he teaches in groups of 15 people. The courses are free and the interested party must register on the Municipality page.
