Old Town Hotel Restaurant

Ο Nikolas Tambouris is a young man, who decided, after his studies, to create a restaurant in his area Old Town Hotel, the traditional hostel built by his parents Akis and Lena in 2005 in city ​​of Naoussa.

The Tambouri family is united, and their desire to offer their guests one integrated concept of Naoussa hospitality.

With this in mind, and starting from Greek cuisine, Nikolas took over the kitchen in the restaurant of the hotel Palaia Poli and creates dishes simple, inspired by tradition, with a, however, more teased look.

«My wish is for our dishes to evoke memories and emotions", Says Nicholas. «The philosophy of our kitchen is based on the idea that beauty lies in simplicity».

And it continues: "We try to find traditional recipes and on them to add our knowledge and creativity. Our goal is for the restaurant every day to remind us of our Sundays. Tables full of large groups, smiles, crunches and dishes that simply complement the good mood of the day».

An important role in the restaurant of the Old Town is played by city ​​wine, starring of course the local variety the famous xinomavro.

«The wine culture of Naoussa is a blessing. Our wine list was created with too much care, as we cooperate with all 22 wineries in the city. We have labels from all the sour and black of the PDO zone. as well as our favorite blends of each producer».

From delicacies of the restaurant of the Old Town we distinguished, from salads the warm (beetroot, Batzos saganaki, poached egg), the carpaccio (beef milk, arugula, homemade cream cheese & lemon vinaigrette), from the appetizers - they characterize them "In the middle" - the brine (trachana puree, smoked Vermiou cheese & meatballs with brine), sausages (potato gnocchi, pumpkin cream, sage, feta) and from the "main" barley (handmade mushroom paste, San Michalis Syros), ragouma sigha & homemade cream cheese), beef (milk, mashed potatoes & sauce with caramelized onions) and tagliatelle (beef, smoked eggplant puree).
