Diamantis Estate

The handicraft of traditional products Diamantis by Naoussa is known for its products produced with traditional recipes without preservatives and chemical additives, from fresh fruits and vegetables grown without pesticides and fertilizers.

The products of the Diamantis Estate We met them at exhibitions promoting local products and on this occasion we visited the gas station and workshop located next to their greengrocer, in the center of Naoussa, at 54 Zafeiraki Street. There we met the soul of the company the immovable Elsa (Elizabeth) Sampidou Diamantis where he told us about the estate:

«Our estates belong to the Diamantis family, my husband, but they were inherited and others were bought later. We have some acres of fruit in our area (plums, cherries, peaches, apples), but we also use fruits and vegetables from local producers, controlled cultivation. Our future The aim is to turn to organic crops. At work, we are helped by our three daughters, Maria, Chrysanthi and Panagiota who, although they have studied in different subjects, are now more systematically involved in our business, bringing new air and fresh ideas.

You will find our products: in Athens, Thessaloniki, Kos, and other cities in Greece. Abroad in France (the restaurants of Mavrommatis - Dionysos use our vine leaves), in Germany, in Sweden, in England we export our vine leaves of the black and white Naoussa variety.

Our main products are mainly vine leaves, our sauces (tomato, pepper and combination), the jams as we had a lot of fruit and fruit, and of course the γαβόψαρα, the local meze of Naoussa, which we have standardized and is a great success».

The range of products of the Diamantis estate is very large, (from traditional pastries, traditional jams, compotes, pickles and savory, handmade sauces, as liqueurs and syrups) and we chose and tried the following that impressed us:

The traditional bergamot, quince, grape and plum from sweet.

The strawberry, the lotus, the wild cherry from jams,

The tsoutske peppers, the gavos fish, the pickled bahovitiko and the vine leaves from pickles.

Pepper sauce, tomato sauce with Porcini mushrooms, tomato sauce with onion, pepper and parsley from sauces and ointments.

We wish the family of the Diamantis estate good strength. Anyway, for the needs of the winter rakomezes, we were supplied with enough gabav fish and so we will remember it in every bite!
