Porto Paradiso

«At the point where we are, at the time that o tourism in Skiathos took his first steps, 45 years ago, my father, Mr. Tassos had set up an area, next to the beach, a tavern-hut. He fished with his little trawler, the "Coast", fish every day - mainly sardines -, and at noon he baked them, and with a rustic and fried eggs with potatoes he welcomed the visitors of the beach.

The 1978 My father got sick and I take care of it. I become a tavern owner in my 20s - I still consider myself a tavern owner, which is why I pay so much attention to the cuisine - and I go along with the tourism of the island. Since then I have done dozens of renovations, most of them with personal work to get to where we are. And I'm glad that the children and grandchildren of my old customers continue to frequent and honor the store».

The tavern was transformed into Porto Paradiso in 2000 and today has all the characteristics of a modern beach bar, sunbeds, wooden decks with comfortable seating and dining areas, bartenders making cool cocktails, "uplifting" music.

But all this is subordinated to the landscape, the long narrow dolly beach with the blue-green sea covered, by the foliage of the pines, an intimate atmosphere, far from the aesthetics of high tech constructions. The sweet feeling of the old tavern is here. Like Kyriakos and his kitchen!

Since 2016, Kyriakos has been collaborating with him Tasso Sega a talented Thessaloniki chef who presents a creative cuisine, summer, reference to the cuisine of the Aegean.
