Grammenos Winery

The Grammenos Winery is based in Balloon, at the top of the Sinarada mountain, with a stunning view of the beach of Ai Gordis in Corfu.

The Grammenos family's involvement in the cultivation of vines and the production of wine has its roots in the middle of the 20th century. The experience of the years, the knowledge, the love and the passion for the wine, forced the creation of a modern winery, with the aim of producing wines of high demands. The growing dynamics of the company was aided by the encouraging results of the winery's course in the local market.

Today, the new winery of the Grammenos family, receives the grapes of its winemaking from the privately owned vineyard on the western slopes of Sinarades and in the area of ​​Skafonas, where the patented local white variety is cultivated. Bad harvest and the local red variety Petrokorythos. In addition, it has an exclusive partnership with wine growers (under the supervision and guidance of the company) and vinifies the white varieties Sauvignon Blanc, Roditi, Malagouzia and the red Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grown on the mountain slopes of Aegio.
